Welcome to Matthew Humberstone Church of England School, a specialist Business and Enterprise College.

There has been a Church of England School on our site since 1882 when the school first opened its doors to just fifteen boys! Over a hundred years later with a thousand students on roll we are justifiably proud of our school¹s history and traditions but equally confident and positive about our future.

As a comprehensive school we meet the diverse needs of individual students in our community and prepare them for the demands of a rapidly changing society. We provide opportunities for our students to achieve excellence in all aspects of school life and the skills and knowledge to become valuable citizens. We have created an environment which offers strong support to the individual and also emphasises the importance of developing care and concern for others.
